Theme: Book Report
It teaches that the law isn't always on your side. Especially during the 1940s thru 1970s. I think that this is the theme because this book is based on that statement. The book uses this theme when Mr. Finch protects a colored man who is truly innocent but is stereotyped by the color of his skin.
Conflict: Book report
The Major conflict in this story is person vs society. Mr. Finch and a white racist guy are involved. It starts when Mr. Finch defends a colored man. It is resolved by another guy killing the racist guy. Yes, it is realistic because back in those times these type of things happened.
Setting: book report
The setting for my book is in the deep south in Alabama. It takes place during a whole year. It will vary because if it took place in the north then racial life wouldn't be a problem. I thinkit could have been set in the north.

Characterization
To begin with, I am currently reading The Christopher Killer. One of the main characters is Cameryn Mahoney. I think that she is a round and dynamic character because she is fully developed. She is fully developed because she knows what she wants in life and also and is also honest and responsible. Three characteristics of her are trustworthy, responsible, and honest. She is trustworthy because her dad and grandmother can trust her. They can trust her because won't do anything that'll break hat trust. Also, I think she is responsible because she wants to be a forensic specialist. Her being responsible allows for her to work hard and therefore be responsible to continue her job. Lastly, I think she is honest because she tells the truth. She always tells the truth to her parents.

The Christopher Killer Conflict
To begin with, there are many conflicts in my quarter novel The Christopher Killer. A conflict in my quarter novel is that the main character (Cameryn Mahoney) is arguing with her grandmother. They are arguing about what she wants to do as her career which is a forensic specialist. The type of conflict is person vs. person. I think they wil continue to argue with each other.

My Book for the Quarter Book Project
First of all, the book that I chose for the quarter book project is called The Christopher Killer. I chose this book because it is horror. I love to read horror because it is captivating. Also, I chose that certain book because the summary that I read on the back of the book sounded extremely appealing. The summary said it was about a girl whose father was a forensic specialist that examines dead bodies; she starts working with him and soons find herself in danger of being killed by a serial killer called The Christopher Killer. Finally, I also chose this book because it is realistic-fiction. I like realistic-fiction because it gives you the feeling that it could happen and it either scares you or makes you feel happy.

The Importance of Reading
To begin with, reading to many people is boring. I know that because I personally think reading is boring. However, there many things that make reading important. First of all, reading helps improve your vocabulary. When you read you read new words and find their meaning by using context clues and therefore you learn new words. A second reason why reading is important, is because it helps your imagination. It expands it and with it you will think better and have better ideas. Finally, my last reason why reading is important is because you experience different things. For example, you can experience things that you will probably never experience like going to space.
